In preparation for the corps craft market in November, Sue and Joy Whitehouse are making a plea for material. Sue says:
‘There is a great deal of activity being undertaken for the craft market and we have already received some lovely items, So thank you very much indeed.
‘We have some requests for materials for people who are making at home, and also to help with the craft evenings, so if you could spare any of the following, we would be most grateful:
- Fabric remnants, ribbon trimmings etc.
- Beads or buttons
- Wood offcuts (for making garden signs etc.)
- Old picture frames with or without glass’
And for those taking part, and in need of raw material, Sue adds:
‘we are collecting a variety of materials, so if there is something you need, please ask. If we have it, it’s yours.’
