Invitation to Club led to Soldiership

Majorie Hickman

Marjorie Hickman on her enrolment day

When Marjorie Hickman lost her husband, a Salvationist friend, Mauren Tiffin, suggested she might like to try the Army’s Silver Service Club.

The warmth of fellowship she found in the club drew Marjorie into deeper commitment and she started to attend worship.

After spending a period as an adherent member, Marjorie was enrolled as a soldier by Major Geoff Ashdown on 20 February 2011.
